Speech Pathologist

Amy Lyle

Amy is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with a Master of Speech Pathology, Bachelor of Education (Primary), and Graduate Diploma in Early Years Education. She has also completed physiology-related subjects within Sports and Exercise Science and is a qualified Personal Trainer, bringing a unique understanding of muscles, movement, and principles of motor learning to her therapies. With several years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across diverse settings, including the NDIS, Amy is committed to ensuring individuals receive comprehensive, personalised support.

Amy’s passion for speech pathology is driven by her belief in continuity of care. She is committed to supporting individuals across the lifespan—from early childhood through adulthood—bridging gaps in service provision and meeting the needs of underserved populations.

Why this Service?

The demand for speech pathology services is greater than ever, driven by:

  • Increased awareness of communication disorders and the importance of early intervention.
  • Demographic trends, including an aging population with neurological conditions affecting communication and swallowing.
  • Diverse needs across different cultural backgrounds and abilities.
  • Limited access to services, with funding constraints, workforce shortages, and geographic disparities creating barriers to timely intervention.

Nova Speech Clinic's services are built on the principles of transparency, accessibility, evidence-based practices, and person-centred care. By working with individuals across all stages of life, the goal is to provide long-term, consistent support that empowers people to communicate with confidence and participate fully in their communities.
